See your body with different eyes. In our culture, looking at our bodies and critiquing them has become normalized. This practice does not cause the body to change for the better. Instead it causes decreased self-esteem, acting as if we are "less than" someone else, and sometimes not caring for, and not being grateful for, our bodies. This week, allow yourself to be grateful for your body. Notice what you love about your body, stand proudly, and experience joy in how your body is right now.
Each week has a new Focus and Intention
You can keep the PoleMoves weekly intention and focus in existence throughout your week by posting the focus on your wall or wearing a bracelet, or string, around your wrist that is intended to remind you of the focus. You can also create a piece of art with the same focus and intention.
